General Information on our Events

The SMA aims to provide the students in the Management program with diverse and valuable opportunities to further build on their professional skills outside of the classroom. In addition, we give students a variety of opportunities to participate in exciting social events on and off campus to create lasting connections with faculty and peers.



The range of events offered by the SMA is truly distinctive and recognized by members and peers. From skill-enhancing workshops to relationship-building networking events, we have got it covered if it is beneficial for Management students. With a focus on balanced development, we can confidently say that consistent participation in SMA events will be advantageous for you in the long run.

Q: How do I register for events?

A: Most, if not all of our events will have a link to the PSDP website. You must register on that site before attending an event that has PSDP points. Some events on our website will have a link in the blue box where you will have to fill out your information on a google doc in order to be registered for that event.

Q: Do I have to wear a suit to every event?

A: No, you don’t. Each event will have its own dress code. You can find what the dress code is by looking in the blue box near the bottom of the page for each event listed on our wesite.

Q: What if I have registered for an event, but am now unable to attend?

A: You must send an email to Linnet Kocheril, the Undergraduate Program Assistant, stating that you will not be able to attend the event and the reason why. Failure to do this before the start time of the event will result in you being put on the “Black List” wherein you will not be able to attend any other events.
